For years we have been selfishly keeping these fish and secret spots to ourselves, with designs on personal bests & world records.
Now after the proper preparation and secret locations, we have decided to open our charters to a select few spearfishing groups to join us as we put you on the bucket list fish of YOUR dreams.
To address our biggest question: How cold is it going to be in the water- we have some great news!! Due to our location in the cross roads of two major Pacific Ocean currents, our sea water is historically within only 2-4 degrees of Monterey Bay California, but 1200 miles North! (65-50degrees depending on depth and time of year)
Unrivaled daily attempts on World Record Class Chinook/King Salmon:
Unlike most of Alaska where non-residents are held to 1 Chinook a day but only 3 fish a year maximum or even less depending on the time of year......
For select dates we have legal access to special regulation areas here in South East Alaska that allow the take of up to 3 king salmon per day, with absolutely no impact on your maximum allotment of 3 King Salmon for the year.
In addition to the King/Chinook we also have access to:
Coho/Silver- 6 per person per day-no annual limit
Pink/Humpy- 6 per person per day-no annual limit
Sockeye/Red- 6 per person per day-no annual limit
Chum/Keta-6 per person per day-no annual limit
Halibut:
Paying charter clients are allowed to take one per day, no yearly maximum.
Any fish over 80" or under 40"
This rule is not up for debate, we will not retain a halibut from 40.1"-79.9" as per current N.O.A.A. guidelines for all SE Alaska. (2C)
Lingcod:
2 fish per year, One Daily
One 30-45" One 55"+
Rockfish:
5 Pelagic Rockfish per day, no yearly limit.
1 Slope Rockfish per day, no yearly limit.
Unlimited harvest of True Cod, Cabezon, Greenling, any unlisted species.
Bring the Camera & the GoPro.....Whales, Eagles, Seals, bears, wolves, deer, otters, porpoise, and MORE are seen IN the ocean while we are exploring the wilderness.
Please understand we must conduct a interview with you to discuss the skill level of those interested in participating, group size, gear to bring, what to expect, etc.
We maintain the right to cancel the dive at any point we feel you or the conditions are being unsafe.
Send us an email or call us to find out if this opportunity is for you.
