Welcome Cruisers to Ketchikan Alaska!

That is the question, and its hard to explain without coming across as disrespectful or boastful so we will do the best to keep it to the facts. 

Our vessels are large, brand new, fast and comfortable with all the amenities and our captains are all highly experienced in Alaska. 

We go the extra mile, extra fast... Literally and figuratively. We pay hefty port fees to ensure we can provide direct access to pick you up & drop you off in the closest possible location to maximize your time on the water. After the handshake and greeting as you walk off the cruise ship, we hop aboard one of our premier enclosed cabin sport fishing boats equipped with new Yamaha engines, enclosed private bathrooms, heaters, speakers and head out to make some life long memories together.  

Paired with industry leading equipment provided by premier companies like Gibbs Fishing products, Pelagic, Garmin, Yamaha, and Seaguar, we keep the fishing hot!!!

All our captains have the experience to ensure you and your group have a safe and memorable time onboard. You do not need to be an expert to hook and land your own quality size fish. Many of our fishing guests haven't had the chance to go fishing EVER. Our captains will instruct you on adequately using the rods and reels and explain what to look for when the fish strikes. All ages welcome.

Salmon fishing is best done in the ocean while trolling in conjunction with down riggers! The rods will be within arms reach and as the boat is motoring at a slow pace the fish will strike and you grab the rod and the fight begins! We occasionally run a "Top rod" which requires an active fisherman to be attending the rod in his or her hand. 

Halibut & Rockfish are sometimes caught while trolling but the majority of the time we are on anchor, or at a slow drift while vertically jigging the rods with bait and lures at depths anywhere from 25-400' while you hold the rod in your hand or the rod holder. 

YES!! We help facilitate this with our local custom processing company. At a cost of $3.85 per pound for finished weight (Just the fillets) before S&H. It's cleaned, filleted, vacuum packed and flash frozen while being stored in a freezer until the date you would like it shipped to your home. FEDEX overnight priority is used. 

We supply snacks and drinks onboard all of our vessels but you are welcome to bring your own lunch or request something specific be onboard at your expense.

We encourage you to dress according to the weather of the day, especially if its due to rain. For weeks straight it might be sunny and 70s but with that being said it might be weeks straight of rain and 55-60s.  Layers, and waterproofing are key! 

All of our captains are USCG and CPR certified with years of experience on the water. All of our vessels are equipped with an adequate amount of life jackets, and other safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, radios, first aid kits, etc. 

We have other vessels on standby, and even float planes willing to render aid and ensure a safe and timely return to port.

Bring the whole family as this tour is great for ALL ages! Ketchikan Alaska is named the Salmon Capital of the world for a reason! With all five species of salmon available to catch throughout the summer. Keep your fish and ship it home to share with your friends and family. Maximum of 6  clients per vessel, multiple vessels available. Price for 1 to 4 clients is fixed.

This is that Alaska trip we all talk about for the rest of our lives. Take the whole day and fish for your own bucket list Halibut,  Salmon, Lingcod, Rockfish, Sharks or sea monsters on this trip! Plenty of whales and wildlife to keep everyone excited. Time frame is as short as you request but on average last 6-9 hours.

Approximately 15-100 miles round trip, we pick you up right at the  cruise ship or convenient dock. From there we head out FAST & FAR  beyond the other whale watching tours in order to ensure you the best  chances at witnessing the wildlife that make up the inside passage of  South East Alaska! We provide hydrophones so you can hear them sing!!  Humpback Whales, Orca, Fin Whales, Seals, Sea Lions, Sea Otters,  Porpoises, Eagles, and more are what we are looking for on this private  tour. Approx 2.5-4 hours long per your prerogative and weather.

Approximately 100-150 miles round trip, deep into the Misty Fjords National Monument, a 2.3-million acre wilderness of shear rock walls, temperate rainforest, and glacier-carved waterways. Whales, Black and Brown Bears, Sitka Deer, Mt Goats and even wolves are often seen on this epic ride into the wilderness on our high speed boats. We also stop off  at the Iconic New Eddystone volcano that erupted 15,000 to 13,800 years ago. Once in a lifetime trip. Approx 4-5hrs depending on your time frame and personal prerogatives.
